The Tally Pad™

The Tally Pad™ is the most innovative product for lumber grading, and has proven to be the most advanced and effortless method of entering the surface measure and grade of a hardwood board. The pad itself is detachable, and easy to install. Mounting it on your lumber grading stick allows you to comfortably grade with just one hand, and for the first time ever, eliminates the need to hold a bulky handheld, grading stick and marking stick.

The Tally Pad™ communicates wirelessly with the FSI Chain Tally™ program. This modern, real-time device features 6 hard coded NHLA grades, as well as 4 wild card buttons that allow a grader to define their custom grades. The unique tier-separation buttons allow you to tally multiple loads (with the same grades) at once.

This device wirelessly communicates a board’s width, via Bluetooth connection, to any FSI handheld or other existing third party programs. The Tally Stick™ can be used by anyone, regardless of who your vendor is. Tallied data can also be uploaded from your handheld to any inventory system, under multiple supported file formats.

The EZ Scale™

The EZ Scale™ is the innovative new way to scale logs. It’s an easy-to-use add-on to your scale stick. Set up your custom species and grades to correspond with the EZ Scale’s™ configuration, then put your handheld away and start scaling! You can select the length, diameter, species, grade, and pricing directly from the pad mounted on your stick.

It’s easily integrated with any Android log scaling device, and is fully compatible with the entire FSI family of handhelds, making the EZ Scale™ the cornerstone of your procurement operation. This versatile device can even be integrated into timber cruising programs.
